Is the Shopify store really free while I’m building it?
Eligible Shopify client transfer stores do not require a monthly Shopify subscription during development. The $99 charge is for CODEJTECH’s professional setup and guidance services—not access to a development store.
Why do I have to pay $99?
The fee covers store creation, initial configuration, onboarding, professional assistance, and launch guidance. Shopify does not charge a monthly subscription for an eligible client transfer store while it remains in development.
How long can I take to build my store?
Shopify’s current client transfer store documentation does not list a fixed development countdown. You can prepare the store before choosing a paid Shopify plan, subject to Shopify’s applicable policies and platform changes.
Can I accept payments while the store is being developed?
No. Real transactions are not supported while the store is in development. You must accept the transfer, activate a paid Shopify plan, and configure payment processing before taking live customer orders.
Will I own my Shopify store?
Yes. During development, CODEJTECH owns and configures the client transfer store. When you are ready, ownership is transferred to you through Shopify’s official transfer process.
Do I have to hire you for additional development?
No. Additional development services are entirely optional, and no recurring development subscription is required.
What happens when I’m ready to launch?
We confirm the handoff details and initiate Shopify’s transfer process. You accept the transfer and select a paid Shopify plan. Client transfer stores are not eligible for Shopify introductory trials or promotional plans after transfer.
